RECAP: Dreaming BIG @ The Wellness Warriors

Saturday afternoon at Eton Mall was a reminder of why we do what we do at Self Love Club. Witnessing the radiant energy of over 25 young girls, ages 9-12, during the Wellness Warrior: Dream & Flow event, sponsored by Lululemon, filled our hearts with so much hope.

We started with a gentle yoga flow, a moment of grounding and connection. It was a beautiful reminder that taking a moment to breathe and connect with our bodies is essential.

Then, we delved into the magic of vision boards. Facilitating this workshop was deeply moving. To see these young girls articulate their dreams – future doctors, fashion designers, athletes, and artists – was a powerful reminder of the boundless potential within each of us. Their dreams were vibrant, unapologetic, and inspiring.

Lululemon's gifted the girls water bottles, but the real magic happened during our visit to the Lululemon store. Seeing Dianne Williams Suntala’s photograph, the founder of Little Zen Yoga and a Lululemon ambassador, hanging proudly within the store was a profound moment. The girls' faces lit up, a spark of recognition and possibility ignited in their eyes. It was a tangible example of dreams realized, a powerful testament to the fact that their aspirations were not only valid but achievable.

This event wasn't just about crafting vision boards and practicing yoga; it was about teaching self-belief and empowerment. It was about creating a safe space for these young girls to dream without limitations. It was about reminding them that their voices matter, their dreams are worthy, and their potential is limitless.

Seeing their excitement, their enthusiasm, and their unwavering belief in their dreams was a powerful reminder of the impact we can have. As women, we understand the importance of mentorship, of showing the next generation what's possible. Witnessing their joy and their belief in themselves was a gift, a reminder of the power of community and the importance of fostering self-love at every age.
